Similar protein pathways are affected when cells are treated with compounds of the same type. In this example, two compounds of each type (A and B) were used to treat a human cell line. Differentially expressed proteins were clustered to illustrate different protein pathways that are affected by each type of compound. This clustering is helpful in identifying compound's mechanism of action, effective dose, toxicity, etc.
